Part I

I stumbled upon photography while pursuing a dream to be on the Mens Olympic Team for BMX racing. As I neared my burnout stage after 9 years of racing coast to coast, I became fascinated by the photographers at the races who captured the action. I had no prior knowledge of photography but the local track photographer in South Carolina offered to let me use his camera during races. That was all it took for me to become hooked. The power to freeze moments in time was addicting and I progressed quickly, even having a few of my images published in USABMX Magazine and blogs.

Part II

While I initially thought action photography would be my life's work, I decided I wanted to start learning other styles of shooting. I transitioned to wedding photography, portrait work, documentary, aerial photography, music shows, 3D modeling as well as several other styles. I've been told to pick a style and stick with it, but I refuse to confine myself to just one genre.

Part III

My goal is to be one of the most versatile photographers in the industry, to be the photographer that can handle any assignment thrown my way. I don't need to be defined by a single category, I am a photographer.
